As a New Zealander, I have been privileged to be connected to nature throughout my life. Through this connection I have developed a love for silence, solitude and contemplation. I spent many years living in Patagonia, Argentina, where I grew up in a bi-cultural family surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers. All of this enhanced my desire to be more deeply connected to the Holy through contemplative practices. Spiritual Direction is the art of listening, rather than counselling. No matter where you are at, I can walk with you in your spiritual journey.
In 2020 I completed my training as a Spiritual Director, and became a member of the Association of Christian Spiritual Directors NZ. I am also a member of Spiritual Directors International.
In 2024 I trained as a Supervisor, another service I provide.
What is Spiritual Direction and what does a Spiritual Director do?
I walk with you in your spiritual journey, providing a save pace for you to explore your
sense of The Holy. Together we notice where God is showing up in your life. We may sit in quiet conversation or use creativity, prayer practices, silence, journaling, art, nature, dream work, craft, poetry, photography and more, whatever helps us int he journey. The space is yours, I am your companion in it.
Sessions can be face to face or online.
What is Supervision and who goes to supervision?
Supervision is about learning from your experiences while in an occupation with responsibilities in chaplaincy, christian ministry (clergy or lay), spiritual directors and other people focused vocations. I use a reflective supervisory model where the goal is to create a safe place for you to bring issues, questions and situations relating to your work.
